Acceptance of Terms

By scheduling and participating in tutoring sessions with Created Scholars, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern the provision of educational services and outline the rights and responsibilities of both the client and the tutor.

Services Provided

Created Scholars provides professional tutoring services specializing in advanced STEM subjects, including but not limited to physics, chemistry, and mathematics. The objective of these sessions is to facilitate understanding, improve academic performance, and promote independent learning. Tutors will not complete assignments, exams, or graded work on behalf of the student.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are expected to attend online sessions on time, fully prepared with relevant materials (textbooks, syllabus, specific questions, or assignments), and ready to engage actively in the learning process.

Billing and Refund Policy

All financial transactions are subject to the following terms:

Invoicing: Invoices are generated and issued to the client only after the completion of each session. Payment is due in full upon receipt unless an alternative written agreement is established prior to the session.
Non-Refundable Policy: All payments for completed sessions are strictly non-refundable. Billed sessions reflect time and instruction already rendered.
Cancellations and Rescheduling: Clients must provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice prior to the scheduled session time for any cancellations or requests to reschedule. Exceptions without penalty are granted for adverse circumstances, such as sudden illness or severe emergencies. Approved rescheduled sessions must be completed within 14 days of the original appointment.

Late Cancellations and No-Show Policy

Failure to attend a scheduled session or failure to provide the required 24-hour notice constitutes a "no-show."

One-on-One Sessions: Any no-show or late cancellation will automatically incur a $30.00 penalty fee, invoiced to the client.

Group Session Policy

Invoicing: Invoices are issued individually to each participant post-session and are strictly non-refundable.
Partial Group Cancellations: If one or more participants cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, the total standard cost of the group session will be divided equally among the remaining attending participants.
Single Attendee Conversion: If late cancellations result in only one participant attending, that individual will be billed at the standard one-on-one session rate for the duration of the session.
Total Group Cancellation: If all scheduled participants fail to attend or cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, a single $30.00 penalty fee will be assessed, split equally, and invoiced to all scheduled members.
Group Rescheduling: If the entire group wishes to reschedule, all participants must agree, and the request must be submitted with at least 24 hours' notice.

Right to Refuse Service

Created Scholars reserves the right to terminate the tutoring relationship at any time due to consistent tardiness, repeated failure to process invoices, or failure to maintain a respectful and professional environment.

Limitation of Liability

Created Scholars is committed to providing high-quality educational support; however, we do not guarantee specific grades, test scores, or academic outcomes resulting from our services. Created Scholars is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from academic performance.

Modifications to Terms

Created Scholars reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes to billing or operational policies in writing prior to their next scheduled session.
